Miss Bay County Pageant

Surprisingly for a farm girl, I dig pageants. I competed in several when I was in high school; originally because no one thought I actually would/could but then because I found it to be a wonderful, empowering and fun experience. One of my best memories was being crowned Miss Clay County 2009, and I credit pageants for helping me become more confident, poised and a better public speaker.

Needless to say, I jumped at the opportunity to photograph the Miss Bay County pageant for the local Bay City Times. Below are a few of my favorite moments.
