Being on evening/weekend shifts for a community news organization means a LOT of sports. Over the past year, it’s been neat to watch local athletes grow and compete throughout different sports seasons.
Baseball is my favorite sport, which surprises some other photogs, because the game can be slow and repetitive. I think I like it so much because I understand it well enough that I can predict what might happen next, so I’m better prepared if a runner tries to steal a base or there is the potential for a double play.
