Here in Michigan, winter has dragged on for far too long, and we are getting restless for spring. For a change of scenery, my fiance and I took advantage of a long weekend to visit Chicago and a new aquarium in Auburn Hills, Mich. We were only in Chicago for about 24 hours, but we definitely made the most of our trip by bundling up and walking all through Michigan Avenue and to Navy Pier, with the mandatory stop at Millennium Park to see Cloud Gate ("The Bean") reflecting the Chicago skyline. The following day, we went to the Field Museum to see all kinds of amazing fossils, artifacts and exhibits.
All these photos were taken on a Fuji X100S.
